The server is running.

On free Render hosting, open this page in Safari before YouTube and wait for it to finish loading. Install TLSFix and modern root certificates as described in the setup guide.

In Settings → TubeRepair, set Custom URL to:

https://aydreyoutube2g.duckdns.org

Play compatibility test

This eight-second clip tests playback without contacting YouTube.

1. Set the Custom URL, then restart the iPhone.
2. Open the original YouTube app and search for a short video.
3. The first tap may play a Preparing video message. Wait a few minutes, then tap the same video again.

Videos up to 10 minutes are supported. Search and video playback are the initial target. Google account sign-in, live streams, and server-side playlists are unavailable.
